ADHD & Beyond

ADHD doesn’t always show up in the way the textbooks describe. It often runs much deeper than that, affecting your emotions, relationships, confidence, work and ability to manage everyday life.

It can also contribute to unhealthy patterns, behaviours and addictions that may be difficult to understand or change.

Everyone experiences ADHD differently, so I will adapt the way we work to suit you as an individual.

Exploring ADHD and Preparing for an Assessment

You do not need a formal diagnosis to work with me.

If you think you may have ADHD, I can help you explore your symptoms and decide whether you would like to go ahead with an assessment.

Although I cannot formally diagnose you, I can help you prepare by creating a clear bullet-point summary to take with you, so you don’t have to remember everything on the day.

Professional and Personal Understanding

ADHD has been a passion of mine for many years, and I have extensive professional knowledge in this area.

I also have ADHD myself, so I understand many of the challenges from both a professional and personal point of view.

You won’t need to convince me that your struggles are real, and there will be no judgement.

Support for Young People

I also work with young people from the age of 11, with or without a diagnosis.

Where appropriate and with consent, I can communicate with their school to explain their individual needs and highlight support or reasonable adjustments that may help.

Young people should not have to wait for a formal diagnosis before their needs are taken seriously.

How I Can Help

As a qualified therapist and ADHD coach, I can combine practical coaching strategies with therapy when needed.

What I can support you with:

Understanding how ADHD affects you

Procrastination, motivation and getting started

Organisation, routines and time blindness

Overwhelm, burnout and emotional regulation

Rejection sensitivity and low self-esteem

Anxiety, depression, trauma and other neurodivergence

Finding strategies that work for you

We will focus on the areas causing you the most difficulty and find realistic ways to help you move forward.

Getting Started

The first step is to book a 50-minute consultation.

We will discuss what you need and make a plan together.

Sessions are available face to face or online, subject to availability.
